Margaret High - Editor's Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement In Poetry, The National Library Of Poetry

Burl Levine: In 1994 Burl received the St. James' Court Award for his poem Vigil for Auntie Gertie at the Orillia International Poetry Festival.

 

Gloria Nye: Gloria's short story Seventeen Crows won first prize in The 2010 Elora Writers' Festival Writing Competition.

Pat Mestern: A British film production company will be in Fergus, Ontario, in December, 2010, to film an episode for "The Empire" series on Fergus based on two of Pat's books - the fictional Anna, a Child of the Poor House and Fergus, A Scottish Town by Birthright. Pat will be part of the show and also assisting with research.
Both fictional titles Anna, a Child of the Poor House and Granite are being considered for possible stage plays. Treatment was done regarding a movie for No Choice But Freedom, in which Neve Campbell was interested in playing the part of the heroine. The treatment, done by J.Marshall Craig, is still circulating.

Gabriele Wills: Gabriele's historical novel The Summer Before The Storm is an official selection of the 2010 Muskoka Chautauqua Reading Circle.
Her first short story, Mrs. Beresford's Disgrace, won an Honourable Mention in the Canadian Authors' Association contest, and appeared in the Winners' Circle 5 Anthology.
In 2001 she produced an award-nominated feature on CBC Radio's "Outfront."

Harold Usher: Harold's book PROSTATE! PROSTATE! PROSTATE! A Problem of Men was translated into Chinese.
